Reach-In Wardrobes

Reach-In wardrobes are the usual common `alcove’ constructed wardrobes found in most homes built since the early 60’s to date. These wardrobes usually have one shelf (we call it the builder’s shelf), with just a single rod at from 1600mm to 1800mm off the floor.

While we will design and build additional units under an existing builder’s shelf and rail including drawers, wire baskets and shelves, it is usual for and recommended to remove the existing shelf and rail to install completely new units to maximise the storage capacity. We will then use our creative thinking and design expertise to help maximise storage in the usually limited space.

In most cases new doors, hinged or sliding, will also be required. Doors type and design will normally depend on a door system that blends well with the style of the home or renovation, customer preference, budget constraints and with input from our sales manager/design consultant experience and knowledge.

We can usually take your existing one shelf reach-in wardrobe and double its storage capacity.
